I was just musing about the Spitzer scandal. The media universally displays and, therefore (because of its extremely delicate and volatile nature) entices promiscuous sex. Contraception is the given and presumed life style. Abstinence, chastity and the alternative meaning of truly “responsible sex” (NFP) is odd and now countercultural.
However, any dereliction in this direction is unforgiven. How odd! It makes me think of Satan present at my particular judgment at death. He will accuse me of my certainly committed sins and faults which he has aided and abetted. I think of the self-righteous and dark humor to which we subject the ex-governor.
